The Watchers Mini Series – Cow

This is the first piece from a new set of small works inspired by my larger The Watchers needle-felted fibre painting series, 2025.

Working at a smaller scale adds challenge – fewer fibres, more restraint, and a focus on capturing character with simplicity.

This cow is the first to appear, followed by Sheep, Hare and Deer – each a nod back to the original works which you can see in the gallery on my website, sarah-ritchie.com.

All four pieces will be available to purchase at the Deeply Felt group exhibition with Auckland Felters:
