About Sarah Ritchie
Sarah Ritchie is an internationally-awarded author, mentor, facilitator, and accomplished fibre artist.
She has spent over 30 years in the creative communications industry, running a successful design business, teaching tertiary design, plus teaching and facilitating creative and business workshops.
In addition to her impressive business career, Sarah is also a talented fibre artist, specialising in creating framed works in natural fibres such as New Zealand wool and silk. Her artistic creations showcase her passion for texture, colour, and the unique properties of these materials.
Sarah is the author of two award-winning industry books – ‘How to Wrestle an Octopus: an agency account manager’s guide to pretty much everything’ (bronze medal, Axiom Business Book Awards 2019, USA) and ‘How to Tango with a Tiger: a marketer’s guide to working with creative communications agencies’ (winner, Business: Marketing & Advertising category, International Book Awards 2020, USA). The publishing date for her third book (‘Purpose Made’) is 1 November 2023.
Sarah lives in beautiful New Zealand with her husband, cat, 5 million other Kiwis and 25 million sheep. Sarah continues to make an impact both as an author and a fibre artist, captivating audiences with her words and images.
