#TBT Mask-making in 1983

I came across this old photo from August 1983 (my mum was great at writing details on the back of photos!).

We didn’t have much spare money when I was growing up, but my mum always tried to save enough to send me to an art or craft class during the school holidays.

This one was a children’s art class at the Pakuranga Community & Cultural Centre in Auckland (NZ), where we did mask-making. Apparently I won a prize for mine (top right corner). Nice!
