A single sheep, pausing and gazing out across the wide New Zealand landscape. Rural Aotearoa is a constant source of inspiration for me, and this piece reflects that sense of space and stillness.
‘Standing Still I’ was created for the upcoming Auckland Felters group exhibition, Deeply Felt, showing at Nathan Homestead Pukepuke from 21 March to 2 May.
I’m really pleased to be sharing this work as part of the exhibition, and stay tuned for ‘Standing Still II’!
