Sarah Ritchie's Piwakawaka fibre art painting on exhibition in the Second Life® platform

The concept of exhibiting in a virtual world still blows my mind! My friend, and fellow artist, Amanda Tomasoa, kindly offered to exhibit my piece – Pīwakawaka – on my behalf at a ‘Canvas and Chill’ party on the Second Life® platform (much like the Ready Player One movie).

Amanda has spent many years building up a community of friends and art patrons in Second Life®, and she has opened my eyes to this very ‘non-traditional’ way of getting your art out into the world. Thanks Amanda!
