Exhibiting at ‘Deeply Felt’

I’ve been so focused on (and passionate about) our felted poppy installation and fundraiser that it’s almost overshadowed the fact that I have a number of my own fibre artworks included in the Deeply Felt exhibition.
Deciding which works to contribute to this exhibition coincided with packing to move house, so I didn’t have the time or headspace to create new large pieces. Instead, I included two works that I had not previously exhibited – Solace and By Her Side – both inspired by the work of Pet Refuge (petrefuge.org.nz) here in New Zealand. I also created four new “minis”, each just 10cm x 10cm in size.
The minis form The Watchers Mini Series – Cow, Sheep, Hare and Deer – a nod to my larger 2025 series, The Watchers. I’m very happy to say that all four minis have now sold at the exhibition. (Solace and By Her Side are still available at NZ$950 each + delivery, if you’re interested.)
If you’re curious to see what fibre painting looks like in person, this is a great opportunity.
