National Author’s Day 2025

Most people know me for my needle-felted fibre paintings, but you may not know that I’m also a published author. I have written four books, three of which have won international awards.

Writing, like art, is an act of courage and persistence. Every book represents countless hours of research, editing, and soul-stretching creativity. Today – on National Author’s Day – I’m celebrating not only my own writing journey, but the hard work and heart that every author pours into bringing words to life.
