Floral beauty from Sarndra Cowley

When I first started going out with Simon, I asked him not to buy me flowers. I couldn't bear the thought that he would spend his hard-earned money on something that (though naturally beautiful) would die quickly. 25 years later and our home has been (mostly) cut-flower-free.

Today, we bought a stunning bunch of flowers from Sarndra Cowley (Instagram: @clevercowley), an Auckland-based fibre artist. Sarndra makes handmade felt flowers that you would swear were real until you got close.
